WELCOME TO AVON BOOSTER CLUB
The Avon High School Booster Club was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. We are an organization of parent and other community volunteers dedicated to supporting all Avon High School Athletic programs, promoting positive sportsmanship among student-athletes and inspiring Falcon Pride within the community.
Since 2010, the Avon Booster Club has invested over $225,000 in Avon Athletics in resources, programming and scholarships, benefiting over 4,000 student-athletes. We frequently purchase sports-related equipment, desired by the coaches and/or the athletic department, which fall outside of, or are in addition to, regular school athletic budgeting.
Through donations, we have provided additional equipment and resources for sports teams, weight room enhancements, video equipment, rental of lights for Spirit Week, fan buses, roster boards, completion of Athletic Records Boards and SO much more.
The Booster Club also awards multiple scholarships averaging $12,000 per year to outstanding senior student athletes who have excelled in their sports(s), classroom and community. Booster Club Scholarship applicants' eligibility requires membership by January 31st of the school year.
We are a volunteer organization with an Executive Board consisting of a President, Treasurer/ Vice President - Membership, Secretary, Vice President - Communications, Vice President - Events and Vice President - Volunteers. Other formal committees include Nominating and Scholarship. Volunteers are also needed to help promote and organize the Migli Golf Tournament, our largest fundraiser, as well as our Senior Athlete Recognition night.
We typically meet the second Monday of the month in the Community Room at the High School at 7:30 PM unless school is officially out of session that day. Our meetings are open to the public and we encourage attendance from our members and anyone with an interest in promoting athletics at Avon High School.
